For the record, I agree with Lee's logic up to Level 7, but I have also
stated that in general it would be useful to treat these separate instances
of me as separate persons (with a very special relationship) as they
diverge. I'd like to send them out separately into the world, and thereby
maximize my potential. I'm saying the same thing Rafal said earlier with
his SSN# xxxxxx-nn comments. By any logical reasoning or physical test, they
would certainly be me, and if one of me were to be killed, I would lose some
experiences, but I would still exist as multiple entities.
I suppose I can see how the MWI interpretation of quantum dynamics may
appear to you to have some similarity, but it seems clear to me that it only
obscures a scenario that is entirely in the macro domain.
The issue you are debating is not Lee's Level 7. It's more preliminary.
It's just a matter of definitions and values. It's not about physics.
