Potential Cyber-Nomad Amphib Home

All,
Found something interesting and thought I'd mention it
to the list. The outfit below makes a houseboat which
(when in transport mode) has a beam length narrow
enough to go over the roads permit-free in all states.
The cool thing is, it has a set of pontoons which are
moved on motorized winchs down from the roof to
the sides of the boat when you want to "set sail".
So it's basically an RV you can go out in the water
with.
With Starband and a decent truck, you'd be
a very mobile extropian.
The pictures of this thing look very cool,
I have visions of painting it black and installing
a large gun on the stern.
I am not familar enough with houseboats to
know if PV cells and the usual energy self-sufficiency
stuff would be compatible. One good thing,
these boats are custom made (3 months away)
and have customizable floorplans.
