Libertarian socialism, etc.

"As I said before socialism is more like a river than a lake. Down at
the mouth of the river Hitler, Mussolini, Brezhnev, Lenin, Stalin and, if
you
are lucky enough to get there, you are not equal to everyone else."

Again, I mean, libertarian socialism is totally different than the ideology
of any of these people, it's about as far away as you can get, actually.
Your definition of socialism is very strange...as far as I can see, it is
simply any dictatorship whose proponents call themselves socialist. I mean,
had Hirohito called himself a socialist, as far as I can tell, you would
also claim that he was a socialist. I mean, if this is what you mean by
socialism, and it's the only thing you're willing to mean by socialism, then
I don't see much point in discussing whether we should have socialism or
not, because this simply isn't what I mean. Let's start off with something
that, as far as I can tell, is very basic. Would you characterize Nazi
Germany as a communal society or one with centralized control?

As far as I can see, in terms of authoritarianism, you have fascism/state
capitalism/"authoritarian socialism", after which you have various degrees
of capitalism mixed with social democracy and grassroots organization, after
which you have libertarian socialism. That's a rough picture, not to be
taken incredibly seriously, but basically correct.
