I think the problem with a planned economy aside from tyranny and such as
that is that man is a wild animal. I'll bet most of the people advocating a
planned economy on this thread don't even live their own lives according to a
detailed budget planned by themselves. Even if they have one they break it
constantly by off budget purchases.
       Then we blithely say we intend to set a budget for millions of other
people. But we can't set one for ourselves and we don't take into account
the nature of good old homo sap.
