Then how are you going to have a centrally planned economy? Or is our
charge true that you (socialists) really don't care about people as long as
you get to be in charge of everyone?
Besides, you dealt that card (Kahneman) as if he was saying something
new. The truth is that von Hayek was saying in the early forties that the
stated goals of socialism cannot not be defined rationally or objectively.
Such things as the "common good" sound great coming out of the mouth of a
sufficiently charismatic individual but in fact no group of people will ever
agree what that means -- enter the central authority (i.e., dictator) to
interpret those things for us.
