I've tried beta glucan and didn't get sick the entire time I was on it.
Anyone have similar experiences? (I rarely get sick, but I attribute
this mostly to diet, sleep, cleanliness, and an active life style. I've
also never had a weight problem.)

I also noticed several years ago when I tried caloric restriction
seriously, aside from always being hungry, I did not get sick for the
few months I was on the diet. This is probably not even a good
anecdotal example, since in the worst years I get maybe one cold. A few
months is not telling.

Also, when I do feel under the weather at all, I get very aggressive
about pre-empting the illness.

Cheers!
