Alexander,
If people are allowed to initiate the use of force against others it
is something other than capitalism. The old worn out arguments you used
against capitalism have no reference in the real world. Of course the
wealthy take risks. Under capitalism businesses go broke and investors lose
all there money all the time. Even Marx realized this. He not only realized
it he thought the turmoil caused by businesses going broke was too upsetting
to the society. He thought that socialism would be an improvement because it
would avoid businesses failing.
He was wrong on two counts. First, it is healthy to have old
businesses fail when new and better methods take over. It is healthy to have
old businesses fail so that smarter managers can buy and operate those
businesses. Second, it is under socialism that businesses are protected and
propped up until the society has so many they bring down the entire society.
Please notice what happened to the Soviet Union. In addition please notice
what is going on in China and other socialist SE Asian countries today where
workers are being forced to work long hours for small wages. They are
reportedly working off the clock to keep their jobs and then after that
instead of being paid they are having their wages held back and kept on the
books.
Notice that the workers of the world are trying to infiltrate our
borders, often crossing seas or deserts with some losing their lives in order
to get here. They want to get away from those "Workers Paradises" that you
so eloquently support.
