pretty, we shall see.." From 1915-1940 we had th advent of General Relativity
and Quantum Mechanics, but the world is pretty much the same, from a Futurist
POV. No flying cars, so magical spaceships going a fair fraction of light, no
energy sources based on quantum processes (not even fission really), not all
the different. Not without value, but none the less, not that dramatic in my
opinion. To the traveller on the canoe, even watersheds mean that one is
still floating about on the water, though clearly a different river ;-)
