Yes, I understand that perfectly well, but I disagree that it is ever
practical or useful to state falsehoods.
It is always useful and practical to state the truth. In this case I
understand the truth to be that non-identical persons cannot share the same
personal identity.
As I wrote in my last message, we must draw the line between sense and
nonsense if our discourse is to have any value. As a lover of words and
definitions, Lee should be the last person who needs to be reminded of this.
