Re: Socialism, again

At the beginings of the original thread this spawned I
saw arguments as to the origins of capatalism in
pre-industrial and even pre-hominid times. Then
comments were made on either side as to every society
being capatalist or every society being socialist.
This drifted into really obscure examples, none which
really seem to apply to the current geo-political
atmospheres.

So, my question, is there any consensus on whether any
current successful societies exist with no elements of
socialism? And likewise, were any of these 200 years
worth of failed socialist regimes without elements of
capatalism? I hope the implications of the answers to
these questions are faily clear, although
unfortunately offering no assistance to the original
question of anarchists being socialists or
capitalists.
