On Sat 26 Oct 2002, at 2:00 PM EDT (GMT-5; see the official US clock

EDT time), all interested entities (extropians and other
transhumanists, cryonicists, immortalists, etc.) are invited to
participate in the Extropy Institute chat. (You do not have to be an
ExI member to attend.) Logs of previous chats are available at
http://www.extropy.org/forums/
Jay Dugger has generously agreed to provide a door-prize for this
chat session: Wolfram's "A New Kind of Science".
Extropians chat takes place on ExI's own IRC server, at
irc.extropy.org:6667, channel #extropy . If you don't already have
an IRC client program, you can either download one from
http://www.irchelp.org/ (which also has good introductions for new
users), or use a Java chat applet at http://www.extropy.org/bbs/
Schedule FYI: Chats are held at 2:00 PM EDT on the last Saturday of
each month.
