Well, regarding socialism, it really doesn't matter what we call it. For
example, if you want to insist on calling any sort of brutal tyranny
socialism, I don't think that is a definition which really makes sense--but
it doesn't really matter. What matters is that we have a concept at all
which embodies a stateless, propertyless society. Now, you can say, well, is
that an oxymoron? I don't think it is, but the important thing is that we
have the concept at all. It's like in 1984, when they invent Newspeak, they
don't do it just to give you another word for freedom, they get rid of the
word entirely.
