2002 AA29 has a somewhat troublesome inclination; while the orbit is
close to the Earth's in period and eccentricity, it is tilted by ten
degrees. To shift the angular momentum vector by ten degrees is likely
messy. We would have to add a torque, and it would likely be harder to
do than get a coplanar asteroid to get into a capture orbit. On the
positive side it would likely be fairly easy to get it into a
quasi-satellite orbit, which is nearly as good as the real thing. The
delta-vee to get there would be practically the same as to get to the
Moon and there would be no risk for collision. It would just be a tad
too distant for weekend access.
