Asbestos brakepads? Crikey, that *is* an antique.
Don't know much about asbestos, but I'd recommend seeing a doctor or doing
some Googling to be certain. My take is that you're unlikely to have done
much harm. Asbestos is at its worst with prolonged and repeated exposure ISTR.
And for non-entities sake get some Kevlar pads!
