I doubt it. Most cases of mesothelioma (the cancer that
asbestos generally causes) involve long term chronic
exposure. Plus Eli Lilly is coming out with a drug
specifically designed to treat mesothelioma in the next
year or two.
Of course inhalation of any type of dust isn't a good
thing. It might be wise to buy a *good* dust mask
(not one of the flimsy paper ones) to use anytime
you start blowing dust around.
