My memory is that von Hayek felt Hitler was as much a case of being
recruited as having sought the job. I don't want to get too involved in that
argument as I wore out my PB copy of vH's book before I was half through it.
I now have a HB copy on order and hope it lasts until I finish the last page.
BTW, I am not denying Hitler also sought the job.
