__Advice from a Caterpillar__
The caterpillar had a good point.
Who am I.
Who are you.
And how could anyone tell?
A body
Is an epiphenomenon.
Everybody knows
That they aren't the same as their body.
Just as they know
That the body
Is the only way
For other's to recognize them,
But
If you loose your hand
You stay the same person,
And
If you have a face lift
You stay the same person.

There are those
Who take refuge in the idea
Of a soul,
But they can't define it
In any way
That's meaningful.
There are those
Who propose
DNA
For the same role.
Yet, if one looks within oneself
One doesn't see
DNA.
One sees memories,
One sees images,
One sees feelings,
One sees goals,
One sees desires.
One sees a complex interaction between these.
So,
Who are you?
