Tuck Everlasting--I saw it about 15-20 yrs ago; it was a magical
fantasy movie about a group of Quakers/other archaic lifestyle family in
New England that had discovered some magical elixir. As I recall, it
treated the idea of immortality favorably.
The remake, however, seems to go the other way, at least according to
this review:

Seems as if immortalism is just one of the few things left that the
popular culture moguls feel safe in attacking. After all, its not as if
a boycott of commercial products by immortalists would hurt the United
Corporations of America--there are just not enough of us.
