Oh yeah. :)

It was quite an awful movie, but I just had to tell the group about a
few scenes of interest.

Quick synopsis:
Jason Vorhees, invincible homicidal maniac, is cryogenically frozen in
2000-something and thawed out again on a space station in
2400-something. He starts killing people again and eventually
encounters a bunch of nano-bots that give him an upgrade.

It's particularly interesting to see how (comparatively) low-budget,
b-rated flicks like this portray the freezing/unfreezing and
nano-medicine processes. There wasn't anything quite like a "utility
fog", but it did a better job of portraying limb-reconstruction than
the Fifth Element (in which an entire body was replaced). Oh, also
worth mentioning, there were a few scenes involving 25th century video
games - which as you might guess have a strong holo-deck/VR feel to
them.

Anyway, if you have a strong stomach and/or a penchant for morbid
humor, head on down to your locally-owned rental outlet and pick this
one up.
