but I had to suppress a mordant giggle when I read that. (Let's do the
monster mash at the cryonics bash ... we'll have a ghoul ole' time!)
A while back Damien B. suggested the word "recovery" for cryonic suspension,
and asked other people on this list (if I remember correctly) to submit
their ideas for something more ... catchy; or maybe it was for something
less ... descriptive? I don't think there were any other suggestions (were
there?). Inviting people to a "recovery bash" would make one think of a
DBAB (don't bring any booze) party for the AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), RR
(Rational Recovery) and SS (Secular Sobriety) crowd. Oh, well.
