Looks neat. I have some questions/suggestions:

- I won't flame you for using XP. :) Have you tried Windows XP Media
Center Edition? (or whatever marketing name they cooked up for it?)

- 802.11b/g/whatever? GPS for the navigation stuff, sure - but you
want to be able to take advantage of local hotspots.

- Are you at all worried about the security risks involved with
wireless keyboards/mouses - or in this particular case do the benefits
outweigh the risks?

Is the little black box a custom-build or was this a manufactured part
you found? Is the display a touch-screen?
