Rafal, I definitely witnessed that. There was
damn little in that isolated town to provide
intellectual stimulation. But if one were to
drive about 70 miles to Springfield Missouri,
one could dine at the home of "throwed rolls."

Throwed rolls are served in this particular famous
restaurant called Lambert's. My wife and I
were with my parents there, calmly talking when
FLUMP a goddamn bun landed right in the middle
of our table, having been hurled by one of the
waiters. Having been thus startled by this
unexpected development, he then of course had our
full and undivided. He pitched three more, which
we caught in our hands, a modicum more dignified
I suppose than being startled by the flying
bread.
