Yeah, Harvey is as bright and rational as they come, but that
doesn't preclude emotional reaction and attachment; and once you
become emotionally attached to an idea (such as an inference on
someone else's beliefs or motives) it can be very hard to detach.
Even for me, with 20 years of training in emotional detachment at
the poker table, it can still be hard work. I don't begrudge
anyone the occasional lapse or outburst.
