Three messages hammering away at this point. What, did you expect that they
were going to suspend all rational judgement? Devote their entire economies
to our every whim? A passage from _Excession_ comes to mind.
And in a country which still won't pay its UN bills, and with a President who
regularly lies about his budget numbers and Social Security plans, I hardly
think it mature to be hammering away at what was clearly rhetoric anyway.
Nothing in politics is ever "unlimited".
