Speaking of all those CEs, this may be a good time to switch over to using
1900 CE, as well.
Not long ago I was at an exhibit at the Portland Museum, and it was so
gratifying to see their artworks dated with "BCE" (Before the Common Era)
and "CE" (Common Era) designations.
It's a small point, but why hand over AD (another default) to the
religionists for their AD (Anno Domini) position?
