GPS implants don't work. Unless you power them by blood glucose/ATP fuel
cells, and hang a box on every house corner.

Given how much tissue shields, how much power are you going to reach a box
100 m away? And how often are you willing to recharge the batteries? Do
you want to sleep with an induction belt around your belly? Hello?
