I did some checking and asking today and learned my
veiws are somewhat outdated. East Palo Alto has already
experienced major gentrification while I wasn't paying
attention. Computer geeks are already flooding in there,
surveillance equipment is common and rents have
skyrocketed, the poor and homeless are already
fleeing to lower rents out in the Central Valley.
Seems there is nothing new under the sun. spike
