Celebrating Eliezer's Birthday

All right. I wasn't going to announce this until after the Singularity,
but events have conspired to force my hand.

I am sick, in advance, of the media frenzy over the first anniversary of
9/11. Yea, nauseated nigh unto death from these gibbering jackals trying
to look solemn while gleefully having the journalistic orgy of their lives
and milking every last moment for all the mournfulness it can bear for the
benefit of the ever-watching cameras.

I hereby declare September 11th to be Eliezer's Birthday, for the benefit
of everyone on this planet who would rather have something ELSE to do on
that particular day. Read up on the Singularity, browse some articles on
AI, and heave a brick through your television set.

And before anyone complains, Damien Broderick said it first.
