Hubert Mania:

Woo Hoo! I'm saved! (I'm sorry Serafino, but Hubert just offered
me guilt-free redemption.)

And we want all of our friends who lost their souls in Stamp Hell to
join us .. yes.. JOIN US, in the _NEW_ STAMP FREE KINGDOM.

If you've never meandered through the Zollamt ('Customs office' for
you nonGerman speaking folks), browse through their website a bit:

http://www.zoll-d.de/

Here's the section of incoming products (in English)
http://www.zoll-d.de/english_version/b0_passenger_traffic/e0_vub/index.html

Besides the typically prohibited stuff, they have a cute picture of
a happy dog informing us that we can't bring dangerous dogs into
Germany. And did you know that you can't bring in potatoes and vine
leaves from nonEU countries? It seems to me that their
'unconstitutional literature' section could be interpreted to mean
almost anything, however, foodstuff may be imported into Germany, if
it is "absolutely harmless for health" (Wheee!), and they have a
funny translation of the protection of intellectual property rights.
Have fun!
