The Kingdom of God is right here. This is no pie-in-the-sky utopian thing.
Go for a picnic in the park on a nice day. Instant Kingdom of God: Just
remove the bad things from such a setting like maybe a tooth ache or a
nasty dog running wild, to perfect the situation. How does that kind of
perfection fail to meet the standards of any churchocrat when it comes to
defining the Kingdom of God? Mind you, we can talk about levels of
perfection even beyond our imagination. And even there we have a down to
earth illustration to explain this prospect. For example, how could a
person from Ancient Egypt imagine a scene from this century? And how can
we today imagine scenes from worlds light years beyond our time-space
co-ordinates? The progressive forces in civilization, from all over the
ideological spectrum from atheists to zorastrians give us a Kingdom of God
broadly defined. My Webster's definition of "God" applies even to
atheists...our highest principles or ideals. Here in Canada we have a
Constitution which says "Canada is founded upon principles that recognize
the supremacy of God". But the bogus "Christian" Heritage Party and other
religion rackets like the Trinity Western "University" degree mill, hate
the very idea of articulating a Kingdom of God for this country so we will
have to depend on other ideologies and religions for authority in this
matter and for shaping the future of Canada.
