While I respect what you're trying to do here, I
wonder if the effort is well spent. You can't--and
perhaps shouldn't--curtail their first ammendment (ie
speech) activity. By engaging them, you feed their
delusion, and tend to legitimize them, if only in
their own (damaged) minds.
If you think they are a danger, watch them. If you
think it warranted, discuss the matter 'in house'.
Then practice the proactive approach. Mount
prominently an appropriate statement at the gateway of
the ExI website, or in the header to the list and list
achives, to the effect that the essence of
Extropianism/Transhumanism is forward thinking and
acting, rational and constructive. Consequently, on
principle, ExI condemns and actively opposes
bigotry/racism/white supremacy/etc. as antithetical
and inimical.
Such a disclaimer might seem a bit dull-witted or
gratuitous--nevertheless, "an ounce of prevention..."
And so be done with it.
These are sad people with a memetic disease that
mutilates their better natures and robs them of the
warm rewards of humanity.
