I've heard surprisingly little about useful hardware. I've
said more than once that I would really like to have an implanted
device (or even something like a bracelet) that relayed my location
and something like heart rate to a satellite that I could track.
If the hardware were available, reliable, and reasonably priced to
do that, I'd write the software myself, put it on my server, and
have a "Where's Lee?" page on my web site in short order (and you
guys would get to know the GPS coordinates of all the poker rooms
and strip clubs in Northern California). I'm a perfect guinea pig
for anyone out there looking to test such devices. But I haven't
seen anything that really meets those requirements.
