Stop backpedalling. You asked for special rights and special treatments
for soldiers. Because they're clearly better than those who didn't serve.

Well, I've been a soldier, and there's no such basic truth. The service
was exactly what I expected it to be. I've never looked back since, and I
certainly don't demand any special treatment.
