My point precisely. The Nazis were known for calling various people
"vermin," "rats," "pestilence" and the like. Throughout history
dehumanizing certain groups of people facilitated taking advantage of, not
caring for, making fun of, rejecting, hurting - and sometimes even killing -
them.
