Well, as you've defined the two, they are different things, since it is
possible to "live forever" (finite small total probability of death over
infinite lifespan) without being "exempt from death" (no probability of
death over infinite lifespan). Do you still not understand why it is not
mathematically necessary to be "exempt from death" in order to experience
an infinite lifespan?
