Okay. Since I can't put those "beliefs" into words,
I agree that "theories" is more appropriate here,
though I'm puzzled by the fact that I still can't put
those "theories" into words. To me, "mappings" for
all these would do just fine.

Wordsmiths might actually be more inclined to agree with
Damien, I think. Yes, that sort of knowledge is instinctual,
we'd all agree. Okay. Again, from my perspective, what
matters is that we have representations in our heads of
what's out there. (Though not long ago I was corrected:
this somehow does *not* make me a "representationalist"
in philosophy. I think.)
