Hello Scott,
I live here in Seattle, and believe the University of Washington to be a
good school. As far as the nanotech program,
they have a very good research reputation and their work with molecular
motor proteins is highly regarded.
Depending on what area of nanotechnology you are interested in, may
establish where you would prefer to
attend based on what is available at particular universities. I have two
pages on the Nanotechnology Industries
website that may be of interest to you...
This page has links to other pages that answer questions by prospective
students like yourself:
(what to study and where including a link to advice from K. Eric Drexler)
http://www.nanoindustries.com/edu.html
This page has direct links to Universities via their nanotech
programs/departments of research:

Good luck,
Gina Miller
