Quite, like claiming that Michael originated as a Russian name
(Mikhail, the cyrillic equivalent), or a Swedish name (Mikel) or French
(Michele), etc. It is, in fact, originally a Hebrew name for the Lord
of Hosts, i.e. the archangel Michael (don't recall the Hebrew
spelling), who is the Christian god's equivalent of Thor.
