Micheal is the chief editor of the Journal for Anti-Aging Medicine
and the co-director or the American Aging Association. I have a great
deal of respect for him. That doesn't translate into "I believe he
is always correct in his speculations".

While his ideas may be well placed -- is there a place for the "wear
and tear" theories of aging?, his emphasis on quantum phenomena may
be misdirected.

As I have discussed in previous messages, deamidation occurs on
time frames much shorter than those that would involve quantum
phenomena. While Michael is free to speculate on the impact
of quantum processes in decay, I think it is more important
to examine those processes that will have an impact on much
shorter time frames.
