OOps, sorry bout the empty msg. My hands are not
quite working up to par yet, due to being banged
around in the motorcycle accident, stretched
ligaments, etc.

Thursday afternoon, before I discovered that the
aforementioned company site was down, I got to drive
from Irvine to Fullerton (all the way on surface
streets do the condition of the motorcycle - new
compact(ed) edition of the NightHawk 650) to see the
specialist who was supposed to be doing arthroscopy on
my knee next week. He takes one look, "NO WAY". By
then the various gashes and abrasions had suddenly
become infected (looked ok that morning - came on
REALLY fast - scary), and gives me a prescription for
antibiotic.

So, I go in to work Friday and make a point of telling
coworkers at break about the site being down and the
President's relative being about to be blamed for
major $loss. I knew that at least one of the older
Chinese workers would be sure to pass it on to the
semi-retired President, who would then lay down the
law to the relevant parties. I also discovered that
apparently the relative had been hiding behind the
wall to the break area, listening.

So I go to pick up negs from the service bureau,
stuffing them down my shirt as the remainder of my
seat, where I usually lash stuff on, is pointing
vertically up, courtesy one RAM 1500. When I get
back, 30 minutes later, the Spanish sales person calls
me over to point out that most of the links are
missing from the Spanish version of the site. But the
site is suddenly back, albeit not entirely. (He told
me at the earlier break that he had also noticed that
the site was gone.) I took a look at some of the HTML
from his computer, and it looked like someone had done
some substitutions in the CSS, but I didn't have time
to be sure.

Today, the site is back almost entirely, although some
of the graphics are still missing. Meanwhile, the
QuickSnap camera that I used to document my injuries
and the wrecked bike is gone. It was in my pack at
work Friday I know for absolute sure, as I took a
couple pics during lunch break to finish off the roll.
This morning I went to get it. Gone...
