If it's so predicatble, do you mind sharing where you
see this going then? Are you saying that its only
going to get worse, that we will end up in some kind
of nightmarish (hollywood-type dystopia facscist
amerika), where anyone can be incarcerated, even
executed by executive decree? That Bush or some other
successor was bound to head up a new dictaroship. In
other words, did you saw a facist dictarship as
inevetible and predictable? And if so, why have you
chosen to remain here? What future does this portend
for our extropian principles, for nanotechnology and
its use or abuse, for freedom in general.

Are you saying we have reached a de-facto ENDGAME for
humans, freedom, and extropy in general? Of course I
can already hear the singulatarians suggesting that
although this may be the beginning of the end for
human freedom, the embryonic AI's will eventually take
over and transcend into the cosmos. hmmmm.
Depressing if true. Not at all the optimistic and
idyllic future I imagined growing up into reading
fantastic sci-fi, star trek, L5 space colonies, etc.
