Heads up kids.
Variety reports today that there is a new movie in the works.

"Revolution Studios has paid low-against mid six figures to pick up the
pitch "Post Human" from first-timers Scott Swan and Drew McWeeny, better
known as writer Moriarty on movie news Web site Ain't it Cool News.
Described as an ensemble sci-fi actioner set in the real world, pic centers
on real-life military research to create metabolically enhanced soldiers."
and the article drones on...

So, Revolution Studios picked it up just on the pitch meeting and the boys
are now writing it.
Talk about getting the meme out there. Jeesh!
I remember back in the day,(I sound ancient) a mere 10 years ago, when
nobody new what the hell I was talking about when I started on about
Nanotech. Then, Dave Kreiger, fellow Alcor member and buddy pal, who was
the Scientific Reference Consultant for Star Trek: Next Gen, (bet ya didn't
know they even had one or listened to him for that matter) at the time,
introduced the the whole concept of Nanotech to the whole production staff
at Trek.
With a big white board and laser pointer, the works. A real honest to god
Arrid extra dry moment, ya know?
Long story short, it became part of the "lore of Trek" and I believe that's
how it became common knowledge in what seemed like overnight. Suddenly,
people understood! go figure.

I'm think'in that the idea of "Post-Human" is gonna get a lot of mileage
with the ad budget from this piece of up coming work.
