That is, I would (1) stop letting people go ahead of me
in traffic (unless I was afraid of them or something),
and (2) I would cease tipping at restaurants which I
never intended to visit again and where I believed that
no one I knew would notice my behavior.

Yes, it is indeed immune. But what I am wondering is,
are you really very surprised that my behavior would
change as I claim it would?
