Although nobody has mentioned them yet, I have often seen posts forwarded
here from discussions by Bruce Sterling's Viridian Greens. It is possible
to quibble with some of their positions but the default technophilia and
contrarianism of Viridian Web Culture seems pretty obviously sympathetic
to what has historically been best in Extropian list culture (while
jettisoning much that has been embarrassing in the latter). I believe
James Hughes mentions them explicitly in his article as transhumanist
fellow-travellers.
