When reproduction becomes an evolutionary artifact what might become the
function of sex?
Perhaps- a daily body scan followed by infusion of a tissue regenerative
nanobot elixier from a companion AI.
Humans may design themselves to be hermaphroditic.
Similar interpersonal exchanges could communicate emotional oneness
between partners as well as synchronize biological equilibriums.
Sex may be the key to "Taming the Rogue AI"
If the only way for an AI to experience the thoughts, memories and
emotions of flesh and blood would be communicated through the exchange
of nanobots, AIs might consider humans to be unique, valuable extensions
of their sensory organs.
Humans in return could experience the immense intellect of an AI.
