A wonderfull post.
The Art Institute of Chicago has one of the giant Mao prints you
speak of.
There is also the somewhat dated but very interesting biographical
film "Superstar" (a term Warhol is credited with inventing) also on
DVD, and there is also a recent pocket bio by I believe Penguin
press. Who could forget his cameos on Saturday Night Live.
And don't miss David Bowies portrayal of Warhol in the film
"Basquiat".
Lets break out the Velvet Underground & Nico CD...
