Samantha,
Then I misunderstood you and apologize for doing that. Let me explain
I am a retired engineer that decided he wanted to write some SF about some
things in the broad area of behavioral science. I take "Behavioral Science"
to be a combination of psychology & sociology. I have been reading very
heavily in those areas (as I always have to some extent) including areas of
social or political activism that I wouldn't ordinarily pay much attention to.
Now it is time to make a long story short. <G> I have come to question
a great deal of what I once took for granted. I have been amazed at how
transparent some groups involved in government & education are. I almost
daily hear people ask others, "Do you think that is sign of a hidden
conspiracy?" The best answer is usually "No, that group is completely open
about their goals and methods."
As a result of this I am reading like a pirahana feeds, my bill for
books is out of sight and it is a darned good thing I am retired or there
wouldn't be enough hours in the day.
In closing, I am not reading those that point with alarm but at those
that are advocates of this or that.
Ron h.
