The freedom to grow in all directions doesn't necessarily mean that
movies are preserved it at least one of those directions. It could be a
strict artifact of human-level intelligence. I'm not saying it, mind
you, just that a tremendous (transhuman) diversity of posthuman cultures
doesn't imply that a given facet of human culture will be preserved in
at least one of them.
