The top 100 posters includes all lists, and for the entire history of
the list. I am one of the longer subscribed members, and multiplying
that by my general preference to be involved makes me the Babe Ruth of
the list. What you think of my contributions will obviously vary.

I am currently debating dropping the list entirely, partly from the
fact that I am both working full time and taking two courses as well in
computer science as my reentry to the academic world, so I have little
enough time for homework and sleep these days. Secondly, it just seems
that the tide of revisionistic anti-extropic horse puckey never seems
to end, and I feel I've done my share of the duty holding as much of it
back as I can. I've written several hundred thousand words in my time
on the list, enough to have published a few books if I'd focused on
putting that energy into that direction. Of that amount, only a few
thousand have actually been published to date. I wouldn't mind trying
to up that ante to reach a wider audience.

I am actually posting less frequently these days, so your theory goes
down the drain. If I were so phallically oriented as you describe, I
certainly wouldn't be wasting my time on a nerdy email list, I'd be out
working on getting some.

What I have noticed from the sociograms that MaxM and Anders have put
together is that my 'sphere' tends to be red/ish on many occasions,
indicating that I'm originating new threads, new discussions, more than
others and more that is proportionate for my level of participation.

I hope this means that I've been of value to those on the list. My
posting levels have been very spurty of late, since I dont have access
at home at the moment and rely on checking my mail at school and at my
parent's home, so while my overall posting rate has remained the same
or gone down a bit, those posts occur on fewer days.
