IBM has announced that in conjunction with Nion Corp. they
have invented a new type of electron microscope that has a
resolution of < ~0.06nm (1 hydrogen atom) and has 3D capabilities
that allow it to see up to 10 nm (~50 atoms) deep into
materials.

This is going to make imaging protein-protein interactions
and even within proteins *very* interesting.
